As Adults, Mertens can get any where from 30-50cm SVL.

Mertens require a large water area and a large basking spot.

With spending abit of time with them while juveniles they can become friendly and will hand feed.

they will eat crickets, woodroaches, mice, day old chickens, fish, yabbies, plus alot more

monitors need uv and heat. please make sure you show us photos of your set up to insure the correct lighting is being used
